Honest Lesure Dog Bed Review & Why We Had to Return

Shopping for the perfect dog bed is no small task. Like most dog owners, we wanted something that would be cozy, supportive, and stylish enough to fit in with our home. The Lesure Dog Bed seemed like a great choice—it had a cute design, soft faux-fur material, and a reasonable price point.

While it did have some nice features and potential, we ultimately decided to return it. Here’s what we loved, what didn’t work for us, and who this bed might be a good fit for.

The bed arrived vacuum-sealed, which is pretty standard, but we weren’t prepared for how much work it would take to set it up. The padding inside was tightly compressed and clumped together, making it really difficult to fluff up. It took us about 30 minutes to pull apart the filling and try to distribute it evenly.

Even after all that effort, some areas of the bed remained lumpy while others felt underfilled. It was disappointing, but we figured we’d still let our dog give it a try before making a final decision.

On the bright side, the bed’s design was adorable. The faux-fur cover was incredibly soft to the touch, and the neutral color blended nicely with the rest of our home. The size was perfect for our 45-pound dog, giving her plenty of room to stretch out or curl up.

The non-slip bottom was also a thoughtful touch, especially for hard floors. It kept the bed securely in place, even when our dog jumped on and off.

At first, our dog seemed excited about the new bed. She climbed on right away and settled in for a nap. Unfortunately, her enthusiasm didn’t last long.

After a few minutes, she started shifting around, clearly struggling to get comfortable. The lumpy filling didn’t provide the consistent support she needed, and over the next few days, we noticed she wasn’t using the bed much at all. Instead, she kept going back to her old one—or even just lying on the floor.

The outer cover was definitely a highlight. It’s soft, cozy, and removable for easy washing, which is always a plus when you have pets. However, the interior filling is where this bed fell short. The stuffing didn’t distribute evenly, leaving some parts overfilled and others feeling thin.

For smaller dogs or those who don’t need as much support, this might not be as big of an issue. But for medium to large dogs—or those with joint or orthopedic needs—the lack of proper padding is a dealbreaker.

After deciding to return the bed, we looked through more reviews and noticed a similar pattern. Many people love the bed for its soft cover and cute design, especially for smaller dogs. However, several reviews mentioned issues with the filling being uneven or not holding up over time.

If you have a small or lightweight dog who just needs a soft spot to curl up, this bed could still be a good option.

Overall, the Lesure Dog Bed has a lot of good things going for it. The design is cute and modern, the faux-fur cover is soft and easy to clean, and the price is reasonable. However, the lack of consistent support in the padding made it a poor fit for our dog.

If you have a smaller pup or are looking for a budget-friendly bed for occasional use, this might be worth considering. But for medium or large dogs, or those who need extra support, we’d recommend looking for a sturdier, higher-quality option.

In the end, every dog is different, and what works for one might not work for another. If you’ve tried this bed, we’d love to hear your thoughts! Let us know in the comments below.
